After 10 years with my 1992 968 coupe (6 spd.), I sold it and bought a 2000 Boxster w/tip. and 11,000 miles so my wife could drive it also(she refused or was unable to learn how to use the clutch.) It's not quite as fast as the 968, but handles better and is much more refined. Also, I must admit to having a hoot with the steering wheel toggles when in auto. 4 questions that probably have been covered before:
I'm thinking of getting 2 fold up cup holders for either side of the center console;
what way have you folks been doing this? There doesn't seem to be any attachment points on the a/c louvers.
I'm trying to figure out if I have a rear window defogger. The switch is there to the right of the radio, but I can't tell how and if it's operating.
I have always had built in radar detectors(at some point I'm going to have to see what this baby will do.) but I'm now considering a cordless battery operated so I can use it in my other cars. PNI makes one I looked at. What's the battery life? Do they work o.k.?
I have the stereo with flip up cd and amp in the front. Sounds terrible! I'm thinking of adding the rear speakers in my rear storage unit. Any ideas for an inexpensive install?

I'm leaving 968.net and now joining this forum-looking forward to it. Thx.
