I'm curious as well. They left everything disconnected, but with the top up. They left it this way so they don't have to undo everything again when the motor comes in.
They left all the covers and parts in the rear trunk. I also found the new relay in there. When they tried it and it didn't do the trick they put it back in the box and left in on the service counter.
I don't think I should pay for the relay as it's not in the car. I'll find out in a couple of days.
When their "diagnosis" of a bad relay didn't work, I suggested the motor. They said they would try that first. It didn't take too long to get the call at work that the motor was dead. So does that mean I found the problem. I told them about this forum and renntech. They didn't seem to impressed though. Probably since it causes them money in service diagnosis.
