First thing that needs to be addressed is your definition of a "good" paint job. Second, is an analysis of your current paint and body (the car...not you) . Resurfacing is an entirely different animal from stripping and starting w/ bare metal. A "good" paint job can easily pass $1000.00 in materials alone. Add a hundred hours or more of labor @ $60-75/hr and you can look at upwards of $6K in a hurry.
