They are std for cars in Canada

Try cleaning your headlight switch
Basicially remove it from the car and spray inside it anywhere yo can and down the shaft with contact or tuner cleaner. Then move it between all of the possible positions a bunch of times. Shake it out. Let it sit for a few minutes to let the cleaner evaporate and reconnect the switch and see if that fixed your problem
