I am thinking of this:
DEI Titanium Pipe Shield with LR Technology 010454 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
I like the fact it is held off the pipe so air can circulate.
I was thinking of making my own alum. shield but I guess sometimes they can vibrate or cause resonance.
