I have a Boxster S from 2002, 130000km. I have now experienced the same issue 3 times.
When acclerating hard in first gear, the cars goes into "safe mode", I can´t drive more than 1000 rpm. then I drive to the side, and turns off the engine, and powers it up Again, and the cars runs normally.
Today when it happend, the engine turned off complety under accleration, went to the side, started it Again, and it runs fine. What could be wrong?

The car has full service history at Porsche in Germany.
