Even he thrown together cars can be worth something though, if they have a history behind them. Racing machiens are often cobbled together from parts.

Cars like this are more interesting to me because it's a drivable car. You wouldn't want to beat the real thing on the track at a vintage race but lots of people run their Beck 550 Spyders in vintage events, for example..
