I'll admit, I got this exhaust system purely for looks. It's a cheap enough way to get rid of what my wife not-so-lovingly refers to as the car's butt-hole. I took mine to an exhaust shop and had it welded in rather than use clamps, because I've got bad history with the clamps.

It's a bunch louder now. Jury is still out on if I like it or not but I'm promising to give until at least the next oil change to pass judgement. I *think* I like it, but I need more miles under varying conditions, and I understand it takes some miles to break them in properly.

One thing I did notice is they appear to ship with a coating that, once heated, will flake off in a fine white powder. It wipes right off and doesn't alarm me, just thought I'd mention.

To my eye, this is the sort of exhaust tips the car should have shipped with originally.
