It is a direct swap without any further wiring needed, but you won't get some of the features the wiring provides, such as the rotation upward for brights. The yellowish bright lamp will illuminate though to give you more lighting when the brights are turned on... but let me tell you, those rotating lower beams are very very cool and really illuminate the road better than the yellowish fill-in lamp alone!

Do be careful buying a set of litronics without the electronics from a person you don't know. They're often stolen and the thieves never take the time to unwire the harness and make the set "complete." They just pop the lamp units out and take off.

If you're buying a kit with both lamps and the wiring and harness, you can easily pop yours out and put in the litronics in about 15 minutes. Just make sure they go in solid and click in so they don't slide out under hard braking. Then, save up to have a mechanic install the wiring or do it yourself if you are handy.
