Excellent story Bob! I know at some point, I will most likely travel down the same path, God willing. I love my 2001 S for the same reasons. The lines, performance and reliability. But I also know that time marches on as does technology which is good and bad. I love the lines of the 981 and I think it is another fantastic car by Porsche. I'm just not ready to give up my 986, yet. Your story though, makes me think. When the time does come, I think I would have to do a private sale, just to make sure it goes to a good home.
