I purchased the car in 2009 with 104,000 miles. I don't know how many people owned the car before me, but I would guess it has the original IMS.
From what I've read, a car with at least 50,000 miles would have had an IMS failure by now. Personally if I were you, and I am not you, I would not change out my IMS. However, if replacing it eliminates your worries then go ahead and do it.
