None of my business about how you plan to pay for your car but Porsche is currently offering a 27 month lease special right now on new base Boxsters. IIRC its about $5.7K out the door and $599+tax per month.
Given your 2-4 year window of ownership and the fact you're new to the brand, it may be something to consider. Car would be under warranty and you have the option to purchase at lease end.
