No have not yet taken the Boxster to the mainland but it is on my to do list...But I don't really drive my car in the snow, they salt the roads her so I am concerned about that. But I sometimes drive it during winter when the roads are dry. Can't led it be. My car does not have traction control like yours. That seems to help a lot :-). Here is a picture of the first ski day this fall. Had lent my DD to my son and did not want to miss the fun. So I went to the mountain in the Boxster. Double fun:
