Evo, if indeed "silicon" sealant that's a very easy removal mate. Heat them in the oven at 225 for 10~15min and pry gently. Doesn't budge? throw them in the oven for another 5min at a time. They'll eventually give up. If composite glue was used then you are screwed. Method works for 'silicon' base sealant only.
Not sure about chemical to use to clean silicon from the the surface (acetone?), regardless - if any damage occurs to the lens, you can easily wet sand those (polycarbonate) and polish them back to near factory looking quality. Been there done that 10 times now lol
