That is not for an oscillator. That is there because that same PCB is used for two and three button remotes. With three button remotes, those two pads are not used. With the two button remotes, the outer four are not used.

It would also be good to check fault codes in the M535 module (immobilizer/alarm) and see if there is a problem. It might need a good idea to check to see if has gotten wet as well.

If that all checks out OK, you might try replacing the switches on the remote PCB. The ones you have look pretty ugly, I bet they are worn. I have seen some get flaky and not work probably even though the LED flashes.t. If you need switches, PM me. I keep those in stock.

If none of that works, you may need to buy a new remote. You don't need the key, just the transponder head, Swap over key blade and the "pill" from your current remote key. Then have a dealer or shop with factory tool or Autologic to program the car to it.
