What all oiling mods have you done to your car? I have the EBS baffle installed but I am still not sure if I would do an HPDE at Daytona although I think it would be a lot of fun. It would probably be fine, I am running Hankook RS3 and not true slicks or R compounds. |
I've done the EBS baffle install as well. I'm on Direzza ZIIs, a similar tire to the RS3, and I have had no issues. Everything I have read suggests baffling upgrades aren't necessary unless you are running race compound tires, and ours are still pretty far from that. Still, better safe than sorry, and I'd say the EBS upgrade puts you far in the safe category.
I ended up running a 2:22.9 and topped out at 134mph. Here's a short video of me keeping up with a much faster car:
