Noise when turning

Over the past 2 weeks I've had 2-3 instances of hearing a noise and vibration when making some turns so I did some diagnosis.

1. Does not happen when turning left
2. A medium sized (2 parking spot lengths in diameter) circle when turning right at 10-15 mph
3. Does not happen in a tight circle
4. Happens both under load and coasting in neutral
5. Sounds like it's coming from the rear

I removed all 4 wheels and inspected everything visually. Turned all wheels individually when off ground, rear wheels turned out of gear and back/forth in gear.

2000 S w/ 65k miles. I'm assuming (hoping) CV joints? Could anything in the transmission cause this too?
