2002 Boxster 11750 miles New Engine

2002 Porsche Boxster, 11750 miles
5 speed, 2.7L, Silver on Black on Black.

Looks and smells like a show room car.
Interior is flawless with upgraded SAT/NAV touch screen sound system.
The only flaws I have noticed are a couple nicks around the drivers door handle.
When the car was delivered to me, every compartment had desiccant packets.
This was a true garage queen, prior to the engine failure.

Selling because I have 9 Porsches. No place to store this one.

New Engine (original had an IMS failure)
LNE IMS Retrofit
Nikisil Lined Block/Cylinders
LNE Low Temp Thermostat
LNE Billet Chain Tensioner Paddle
LNE Oil Pump drive
New Water Pump and Battery

The core of the rebuild had suffered a bent rod due to a AOS failure/hydrolock
at 40K miles. The rod bent at start-up. We stripped it down,
there were no issues with the engine otherwise. We replaced the rod.
This block was a series of blocks that I had Nikisiled.
Along with the above, this engine received:
new main and rod bearings, rings, seals, tensioner blades, tensioners, valve job.

Prior to installing the engine the compression was measured at 225-230psi/cylinder (cold)
and 1-3% leak down (cold). Off the starter, it cranked 51psi oil pressure.
Driving it around town -- this engine feels pretty stout.

If you know these cars, you know what to look for, and this has all the engine
upgrades for reliability.

I know $19750 is a strong price for a 2002 Boxster,
but this one is super clean, and arguably with engine
improvements, better than from the factory.

I'll consider cash offers, but no low balls, I'll just keep it for a family member.
