OK you can echange the tensioners in a first step. But if the pads are really weared out they need to be replaced. If they are really weak they can also brake.

To replace the pads i think you have to pull the engine. Don't think you can do a replacement of the pads while the engine is in the car. If you can do it while the engine is in the car, please tell me how to.

They can be changed with the engine still in the car by bolting on a cam holding fixture and them removing the cam cover. I think someone recently wrote this DIY up..........
