Yeah, I expected that. The speed limit was used in after researching what other cars do and what is practical for ours. The 987 series operates until 30mph but has vibration sensors that can stop the top if there's too much bouncing around. As a result, I dropped the speed limit target to 25mph but to give myself some margin, I aimed for 20mph as the cut off. The speed the top sees is a result of the wheel speed sensor and there is some dependencies on that, such as wheel size.
Since there are no vibration sensors on our tops, the Comfort-Top also uses acceleration to stop top operation, even if you are under the top speed limit. I'll look to see how many mi/hr^2 it is set to. Keep in mind, it's meant to be a fail safe so I don't recommend you accelerate or decelerate hard to test it.
