I have a Numeric shifter & cables en route. While doing my homework on the shifters out there their was a ton of opinions. Most that have short shifters are huge fans. There are down sides such as having to use more force when shifting. One opinion that repeated itself was that with the SSK one could shift faster than the sycros could react thus causing wear. The other opinion was it was easier to miss a shift and over rev the engine.
After reading everything I plan on having the Numeric set on the highest (longest) shift setting.
