I did my Dodge Dakota 3 years ago when I purchased some open Enki wheels. I just used Silver Barbecue paint as it has high heat resistance. It has stayed looking great for the whole time. Perhaps not what you had in mind, but this cost all of $15.00 ! For that I did all calipers and rear (in my case) drums. Each had 4 coats.
