I purchased a 2002 S with 49K miles last week. This is my 4th Porsche in 20 years, the others being a 1977 911, 1983 944 and a 1997 Boxster. The 911 needed a complete rebuild which I knew when I purchased it, the 944 and Boxster never had any issues in the short time I owned them.

So far I love my new S; although, after reading the IMS thread I am depressed!!
My bad, should have joined this forum prior to my purchase. One good thing is the dealer provided a Carfax that revealed consistent dealer maintenance records from the original owner.

Can anyone recommend an experienced, trustworthy Porsche Shop in Connecticut?
