No drone, and the loud depends on how much throttle you are using. At idle its not much, if any louder than stock. Going down the street normally its not enough to gets a cops attention or wake the neighbors. But if you "get on it" you, and everybody else will know it. If you want I can do a phone call so you can hear it. This might give you an idea of the sound.
