Agree: great forum, less-than-great search function.
I usually try Googling something like (in your example):
"coolant tank" 986 forum
or
coolant tank:986forum.com
The latter should restrict the results to this site.
You can quickly see how many responses there are in each thread. In general, the threads with a lot of comments tend to be more useful.
