Thanks to a previous thread, my key remote now works. It suddenly went dead this morning. Purchased a new battery - no luck. Using previous advise from this forum, I took the battery out and placed it in the reverse position - took it out again and put it in correctly. Now it works. Hard to believe.

Saved me a trip to the dealership - nice to have access to this information!
