I had this problem too. Way too hard to heel-toe with stock pedals with the height difference.
I bought the Porsche replicas from EBay. They work just the same.
I added spacers between the actual gas pedal and where I attached the new racing pedal. Now there is no height difference. Blipping the throttle with my heel is way easy now.
