This is a very technical question.
I bought in Sunset Porsche a new anti theft module and remote control. The module is pat # 996-618-262-02 M534 the problem is they send me remote control Part # 986-637-244-18 but using the VIN the recommend is 986-637-244-17.
My Porsche dealer is having problems programming the module because they lost the codes and they recommend to wait but at the same time they are not sure if is possible to link the remote control. If I wait and it doesn't work it will take a long time to exchange the remote.
Any one has experience in this matters. Is it possible to link the remote ending in 18 with the module or I need to exchange it.
