Possibly, but in all honesty I already have the go ahead form my wife to buy a 911 (my choice of year/type) after we get a house next year (hopefully). I already know I'll be spending 20~30K for an out of warenty vehicle. So, the warrenty isn't an issue for me. I'll just plan on doing the work myself. To be honest, it's easier to work on the older models than the newer models.

That not to say I'd turn down a Caymen S though. I also might sell (or give to my daughter for collage) by base Boxster and buy an S model. The plan is to always have one vehcile to drive while I work on the other (making it the vehicle I want it to be).
