Generally for the 986, I don't think 19" is a good choice in that you have to pay a premium for tires in that size. It's a little racket the the tire company run, they give you a tiny bit more rubber and use that to charge a lot more. For a show car or garage queen probably not a big deal for a daily driver that might see more frequent rear tire changes different story..
I like the idea of forged wheels in an area that sees lots winter abuse. But the weight has to be low (20-25lbs). Heavy wheels running a heavy winter tire can wear out the suspension sooner, things start rattle and come loose/break.

My boxster is for pleasure use, i dont drive to work, i will put it away for winter, so the max i will do in a year is about 2000miles,
I really like the wheels and the price $900 for rims and tires in great condition I think is really good, is it??
