Maybe they thought it was too reminiscent of Jimmy Jones and the infamous blue Koolaid! Having said that, I think that those in government who make these ridiculous regulations should be required to taste-test it regardless of the color. Same with anti-freeze. If drinking that doesn't kill you, it is likely to leave you blind and then color won't be such an issue!
