NJ MVC has a list of private inspection facilities on their website. I called one shop the guy quoted $65. Made no fuss about the window tint or missing front license plate. All they did was stick the reader in the exhaust and check the fuel cap. I had my sticker in 10 minutes. There are simply too many cars in this state to go through all these inspections.
