I always thought a great way to keep the fresh smell of leather in your car would simply be to go to your local reupholstery shop, by a bag of leather scraps, and stuff it under the seats. Crude but could be effective. If you like the smell of new plastics to, go to a junk yard and buy a bent up, late model door panel or something, grind it up and throw it the mix.
