Many times competitors have seen my cars go across the scales, only to comment "cutting it close there?" I say no, at 2655 I miscalculated!!

The key? And something everyone seems to forget (and occasionally get called on) ALWAYS run YOUR car over "their" scales. They don't care what your alignment guy's scales said, it's what THEIR scales say!! If they are off (race orgs scales) it is your responsibility!! Not theirs!! Do not get DQ'd because of weight when running a few lbs over min.
