Bosch makes the MAF sensors for Porsche. If you buy an MAF sensor from a dealer expect to pay $600 plus. As an option, you can purchase what is essentially the same sensor from Bosch at a fraction of the price (for a 2.7 around $225 to $250) . The only criticism that I have heard about buying the Bosch sensor, is that quality control can fluctuate depending on what factory the sensor was made in. Apparently, Bosch has numerous factories of their own around the world, as well as they out source from other manufacturers too. Personally, I've not heard of anyone receiving a bad Bosch sensor. And, in most cases a seller should honor Bosch's 12 month warranty.
