I have an 02 Boxster S with the Porsche Crest seats. These are the partially automatic ones without lumbar control. I think the leather in these is flimsy. Some liquid spilled on the passenger seat bottom and now there is a parched area. I also wish I had lumbar, but you can't switch these out for fully automatics easily.

So, I'm looking to buy or trade for more comfy seats that are better quality. Does Porsche make a later model seat from a Boxster or 911 that fits 02 Boxster S rails and electronics that are an easy switch?

I hear that most Porsche seats are interchangeable. I just want something more comfy and supportive and with better leather.

Thoughts? If you want crest seats I'm up for a trade in Maryland/Virginia. Can travel a bit for a switch out. I can pay a bit more cash for the trade. I hear the 987 seats and later are better quality. Steve Call: 240-271-8964.
