Just an aside, I left the engine dirty because I didn't want to give the impression that I was trying to hide leaks. This is a bone dry motor, it has not left even one drip of oil on my garage floor. The dirty underside is just that, dirt. The previous owner lived in the country, a little time with a hose and some soap would do wonders.
