What a b*stard that is, unfortunately the price of owning a nice car. It has happened to me more than once, and much worse than that too. I think your best bet is to get one of the mobile scratch and dent repair services like the Touch-Up Guys who are I think Australia-wide. Would be cheaper than restoring the whole bonnet, but it all depends upon how much you want to spend. You might be able to get a cheap badge via Ebay if you don't want to pay OEM prices.
