^ I had clear bra on the hood. It was parked indoor for all of that time. It started to yellow around the six year mark. No bubbles, distortion and really my front bumper never had any chips up front. Nice clean look. Since then I've gone nude and it's already due for a third paint. The film makes a big difference.

Last year I bought my mother a car. On the drive home from the dealer a road construction truck or something threw back a rock. Chipped the hood right smack in the middle. First stop in the new car: dealer parts counter for touch up paint.
That's all it takes.
