If it sounds like a squealing belt, it may be the oil separator going bad. Mine made that noise when the separator went bad because there was too much vacuum on the oil filler tube. The filler tube was sucked flat causing it to squeal horribly.

If you open the engine compartment, you can watch the oil filler tube when you start the engine. As it warms up, the tube flattens out when the oil separator has a leak in it. You'll also start to see more smoke at start up. If it's the separator, you need to replace it asap as it can cause the engine to hydrolock if too much moisture gets in.
