Namely because it's a very narrow wheel with a high offset. I'm no track expert, and hopefully others will weigh in, but those who track or autoX their boxster typically running 235's or 245's up front. With that said, a 7 inch wheel is awfully narrow for a tire of that width. In addition, if your looking to increase your "track", a +55 offset is working counter to that principle. Again, I'm no track expert.
