The only way to quantify cost in this situation is by gaging the level of happiness and satisfaction that you exacted from your purchase. Someone will always tell you that you paid too much, or that they would have offered X. But, if in the end you're happy and satisfied with your new boxster - then $10,500 was a small price to have paid.
