I've used the following oils with excellent results (Blackstone UOA's):

Red Line 5W40
Mobil One 5W50

I am now trying Joe Gibbs (Raby approved) DT40 5W40.

2006 Boxster S
over 50,000 miles
6,500 miles oil change intervals (once per driving season April-Oct)
