Finally painted my calipers. Decals on the way.

To anyone who said "30 mins a wheel" or "this is an afternoon project"...

Either I'm a clumsy idiot, or just have an eye super attention to detail. This took me a whole day (technically, a morning and a night). I had my brother help (and by help, I mean he basically did everything since he's got the hands of a surgeon... literally... as in he's a surgeon.)

First we took off the wheel and removed the brake pads.

We started this by sanding down the calipers and making sure they were squeaky clean. Don't rush the prep work. My fronts were already a faded red, so sanding that was very difficult.

Rears:

We then taped the car up and wrapped a plastic bag around the rotor and applied some coats, about 10-20 mins between each coat. Slowly but surely.

After several coats, it should start looking like this:

Fronts Pre-Enamel:

We then gave it an hour to dry before applying the enamel on. Whew.

Rear Post-Enamel:

With wheels:

Overall final product:

I won't lie. It was a lot of work, and to be honest, I could've just spent another $250 and have a pro do it. But in the end, a $50 DIY job successful.
Decals should be coming in today.
