Buy a bad weather backup car.
Mines a 2007 Prius to impress the neighbors with my hipness, to drive on the rainy days to keep my black car clean, for trips into San Francisco which frequent digs and dents are commonplace, or when I know I'll be bumper to bumper traffic .
