I agree with Jeph and the others that ZZ Top should only be played if your Boxster is equipped with a gun rack.

That being said, my Ipod does have a playlist reserved for high-speed or top-up driving so that others are not subjected to trashy but good driving music like:

Hungry Like the wolf - Duran Duran
Journey - Separate Ways
Take Me Home Tonight - Eddie Money

If any of you guys like trance, I'd categorize the following as good to drive to:

The Beach - ATB
Communication - Armin Van Buuren
Delerium - The Silence - Paul Oakenfold
Tell Me Why - Paul Van Dyk
Ready, Steady, Go - Paul Oakenfold

or non-trance:

It's No Good - Depeche Mode
Gangsta Party - Tu-Pac, Snoop Dogg (when you're driving in the 'hood')
She Sells Sanctuary - The Cult (your stereo had better be good)
Thunderstruck - ACDC
Where the Streets Have No Name - U2

If I had to drive to one CD for the rest of my life it would be Tranceport , mixed by Paul Oakenfold
