The first car that I bought was a brand new, off the showroom floor, 1983 Mazda RX-7. I don't have many pictures but this one was taken in Wisconsin shortly after purchase with my Golden Retriever, both long since gone
The first car I drove, was a 1968 Firebird(automatic though) that my dad purchased. Loved that car also, amazing I am still alive after the adventures in that car.

From the January 1983 Car and Driver Magazine:

That would be me
I guess I was destined to have a Porsche someday!
