This is the later spec part as you have noted, I fitted the same to my 98 car, its no problem using 3 points instead of the 4. I spoke to a Porsche specialist and they supply these for all models now as the bush is more durable (although I recently changed one for a friend on his 987 that had 35k and its was already broken!)
Its a very straight forward job as long as you can support the engine - 1.5 hours max.
A true fix from Porsche would have been a twin bush front mount or at least something more substantial.
Ref the serpentine belt, I woul change at 75k or sooner depending on condition. Its a 15 minute job from inside the car.
