I live in South Florida. I've had my Boxster for four months and have come across a number of other Porsche's, from Boxsters to 911's and Cayman's. No acknowledgments to date. Not even when I've pulled up next to them either in traffic or at a traffic light. It's like they are purposely avoiding to look. Having been part of the Miata culture many years ago where most Miata drivers would waive, honk, flash their headlights, etc., I find this very different.
