I've been to Ruf's website, and they do NOT provide the weights of their wheels, which is usually a bad sign. If they were selling wheels that did improve performance (for example, very light forged wheels), the weight of the wheels would be a selling point.
Everyone (myself included) is always looking for aftermarket parts and accessories that provide a performance increase. The problem with modifying a Porsche is that Porsche makes performance cars of a high standard to begin with, so the tuner's job is that much harder.
